A treasure from 1937, this vintage On the Farm coloring book contains quite a few birds as well as the usual suspects and dares to suggest just what colors junior artists should use. The booklet has 24 pages, measures approx. 11.5 inches by 8.5 inches and has a lightweight cardboard cover. Some of the animals are colored (9 to be exact) and some not very well, while the Pigeon page has a rip on it that was unsuccessfully taped long ago. The book shows its age via foxing on the covers, darkening of the interior pages, a few pages with small rips on the edge and the middle page has come loose. The included birds are: Chicks, Hen, two Turkeys, Goose, Rooster, Duck, Crow, Pigeon, Owl, Gosling, and Hawk, none of which have been colored save the Crow. A fun piece of the past to use, collect or frame.
