The Victorians loved giving calling cards and meant to have them 'Too with this antique, cast iron tray in the shape of a Cockatoo Parrot. With lots of lovely detail and about 20% of its original paint remaining, the tray has feet on the bottom and is quite heavy for its size. It's also quite rare for while reproductions abound this piece is an original with a very crisp mold. The tray measures 6.75 inches in length from crest to tail, is 2 5/8 inches wide and 5/8 inch at its upturned edge, while 809 is marked on the bottom. No longer receiving calling cards?
