A delicate and tasteful Racquet-tailed Coquette Hummingbird figurine by the Franklin Mint who’s about to sample a Golden Trumpet flower. This marvelous work of art was created in 1988 by the artist Alan Singer as part of the company’s Hummingbird Series and was individually crafted of burnished bronze (the stand and leaves) and hand painted porcelain (the bird, flowers and other leaves). The figure stands 5 3/8 inches tall and has a 2 7/8 inch wingspan. The Hummer is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is marked © FM along with a Crafted in Thailand label on the bottom. This piece is a limited edition and has long since been retired.
