An outstanding Sharp-shinned Hawk figurine by Royal Worcester of England crafted of fine porcelain and bronze. The hawk is hand painted in realistic colors with exquisite attention to detail and shading. Made in 1985 as part of Royal Worcester's Birds of Prey series it is one in a limited edition of 9,800, although I understand there were production problems and less than the 9,800 were made. You'll find the figurine to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and measuring just over 7.5 inches in height to the top of the bird's head and boasting a wingspan of 5.5 inches. It is marked on the bottom with a metal medallion which reads Birds of Prey, 1985 Royal Worcester, Sharp-Shinned Hawk, Made in England an edition of 9800. So if Raptors, Falcons and Birds of Prey are among your favorites you may want to seriously consider this Hawk, I promise you will be impressed from the moment he's unwrapped. Be sure to see our other birds in the series, all superbly sculpted in bronze and porcelain.
