An Art Deco House and Garden magazine cover from June 1920 featuring a Cockatoo Parrot on a T-stand along with yarn and orchid flowers. Done in a soft palette of pinks and lavenders with a brown background by the artist L.V. Carroll, the rare cover is both soothing to the eye and elegant. It shows its 90+ years in the form of surface soiling, wear along the edges, small tears to edges, and staple holes on the left margin. It has also been trimmed on the left edge at some point. The cover measures a nice 12.75 inches in length and 9 5/8 inches in width. It sports a Seeger refrigerator ad on the back (boy have WE come a long way) and is ready to be framed or otherwise preserved for posterity.
