A rare and wonderful antique offset lithograph print from Germany featuring a pair of Eclectus Parrots frolicking among the trees. The print came from an early 1900s Tierleben (Animal Life) book by Alfred Brehm, who was a famous German zoologist, and will come to you with its translucent paper still attached. Quite colorful and certainly uncommon, the print is signed by the artist W. Kuhnert at the bottom right and is titled Grunedelpapagei. It measures 9 7/8 inches in length and 6.75 inches in width. It is in excellent antique condition with the colors still vibrant and true. Perfect for framing, crafting or otherwise preserving and if you love Eclectus and antiques then grab it as the two together are so hard to find!
