A mid century marvel of the bird cage kind crafted in the 1940s by the famed Hendryx Company and coming to you with its original plastic seed guards, cups, perches, swing, stand spring and treat cup (which may not be original but is old, baby!) Aside from the accessories the rest of the cage is metal and shows its age via wear and discoloration and a touch o' rust at one end (please see pics). The slide out tray still retains most of its paint (rather rare) but one corner does not slide all the way in (an easy fix, we're sure). We have also noted a .75 inch crack in one of the longer seed guards that does not impact use or function. The cage is marked Hendryx via a metal plate on both the front and back while the seed cups and seed guards also bear the well-known name. Measures 13 5/8 inches in length, 9 inches and width and is 14 inches tall (measurement does not include the handle). While we do not recommend use for birds would be attractively ornamental in a garden room with faux foliage and/or lights, fashioned into a centerpiece or a darling display for clip-on birds.
