Done in poppin' purple and glamorous green this French magazine cover from 1921 is Art Deco at its finest. Titled "L'Ecole des Perruches" (School of Parakeets) it features a becushioned woman offering a flower to a bird in a cage. The cover came from the magazine Fantasio and the cover was drawn by the artist Pol Rab. It is made of paper of standard weight and measures 11.75 inches in length and 8.5 inches in width. It is in good condition for the age having an uneven edge on the left where it was detached and some light age darkening around the edges. The back has a chef who is obviously aspiring to be a conductor. So fantastic framed and placed in the bath or boudoir. You'll like!
