Lovely in luster and fast-approaching flight this Mallard Duck TV Lamp and planter from the 1950's or 60's is a real eye-catcher. Its secret is the unusual use of lustre which catches and holds the light (yep, taking pics was challenging...) and its dramatic pose as if caught in mid-call begs for attention. Well detailed with desirable neutral coloring it features a lamp socket on the back with an end switch. The piece is made of ceramic and well sized at 10.75" in length, 5" in width and 10.75" in height. Unmarked with felt on the bottom to protect your furniture and in good condition with no chips or cracks although I do see a little crazing inside the planter well. And, yes, it works!
