Large and lovely this porcelain water pitcher from the early 1900's features a colorful Bird of Paradise among flowers on both sides with an occasional sprig here & there and gold gilding along its top edge and along the handle. In the beginning it was likely part of a wash set but these days it shines as a flower vase, centerpiece, hallway accent and a vessel for its original purpose - water. Measures 11.25" tall with a diameter of 8" on the bottom, 5.5" on the top, and a length of 8.5" from spout to handle. Unmarked save for "1635" on the bottom and in good condition aside from fine age crazing.
