A beautifully detailed and colorful early 1900's postcard of a Blue & Gold Macaw shown perched on a branch near some berries, and by the looks of things Birdie's got snack! This picture was done by the famous German artist Catherine Klein (born 1861) who was/is known for her birds, butterflies and florals. It measures a little over 5.5" x 3.5" and is in good condition with rough edges (original) and light surface soiling on the back. It is postally unused, marked "Printed in Switzerland" and is #120 in a series. Looking for more Klein postcards? Please see our listings for additional selections.
