Certain species of hunting birds were preferred over all others in ancient Europe and Asia and the most esteemed of hawks was the Goshawk. Today we are pleased to bring you one of your very own (though without the accompanying hood and gloves) produced by Franklin Porcelain. It is hand-cast in fine bisque and sports garnet gemstones for eyes. You'll especially love the dramatic pose give to this exceptional Raptor - poised on the edge of a branch and tilted forward as if imminently ready for flight. The White Goshawk (an Australian bird of prey) was created in 1984 as part of a Limited Edition by the artist Jonathan Bronson and is titled "Silent Hunter". It stands 7" tall, is almost 9" from beak to tail and 4" wide. You'll find it to be in wonderful condition, with nary a chip or crack and done all in white (save for those glowing eyes) giving it additional elegance. Comes with its original booklet, which gives a bio on the bird and its original certificate of authenticity. I do not have the original packing or boxes, but rest assured it will be well packed.
