A fabulous framed print from the 1950's that mirrors the mid century modern fascination with all things African. It tells quite a story with armed Natives in a canoe on one side, a Native with a spear on the other, and two unfortunate Cranes or Herons in the middle. We are pleased to say three of their companions got away.... The print is surrounded by a black wood frame and is nicely sized at 32 2/8" x 12 7/8" X 1.5". It is finished on the back with paper and has a metal piece for hanging. No glass (original). The print shows its age via light foxing and light areas of surface soiling but these do not detract. The frame is solid while the back paper has small holes in it and a water stain that does not go through to the print. The picture is signed "Bunnell" on the lower right and has "Model No. 210721" on the back. The perfect piece for your Mad Men den that's deliciously decorative. You'll like!
