It's easy to get all your eggs in one basket with this vintage silver plated treasure from the Turn of the Century, for in the middle three eggs have been left unattended by mom. Likely French and likely Victorian the handled basket features detailed and delicate ferns along the outside edge, a looped interior and a basket weave pattern on the bottom, while the handle has a rope look. The basket stands upon three feet and measures 6" in diameter, 1.5" tall without the handle and 5" with. It is unmarked and in good vintage condition with expected tarnishing and the handle stays upright nicely. We are unsure if it held calling cards or candy in the 1900's but are very sure it will make a lovely accent in the 2000's (especially at Easter!)
