With its flowing lines and graceful mien this vintage planter from American Bisque can't help but impress and when you throw a Bird of Paradise (or Cockatoo) into the mix? Outstanding! Hand painted and vibrantly colored American Bisque (1919-1982) was second only to McCoy during their heyday. The planter is well crafted, heavy and still looks good after all these years. Measures 6.5 inches long, 2.75 inches and is 4 7/8 inches in height. It's in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, just some expected soiling inside the well. While its still dandy for plants Birdie has a hankering for some thing new (think pens and pencils at the desk, sponges and scrubbers in the kitchen, or make-up brushes in the bath). Unmarked but the wedges on the bottom are the tell. Looking for more American Bisque? Be sure to search our shop for additional pieces.
