For the Hunter who has everything (and a whole lotta books) we offer this pair of vintage Canada Goose bookends to decorate the den and tame the tomes. The birds are hand painted and made of metal (our guess is spelter) while their base is of wood. They are warily posed next to a pair of spent shotgun shells which proves they are not only lovely but lucky, too. Each bookend measures 7.75 inches in length, 3.25 inches in width, and are 5.75 inches tall. They are nicely weighted to handle the beefiest of books and have felt on the bottom to protect your furniture. The Geese show their age (circa 1950s) via scrapes to the wood here and there (most notably on the base of one, see pics) and have small places of paint wear on the birds. Unmarked but well made and it's true, they DON'T make 'em like they used to.
