For the delight of Art Deco divas and dudes we bring you this birdeous Cockatoo bronze from France, crafted of metal and marble and looking for a new perching place. The footed piece features a Cockatoo Parrot of delicious detail sitting atop marble veined in orange and burgundy. It measures 5.75 inches to the top of the bird's crest and is 3.75 inches at the base. Given its construction it's quite heavy (more than 2 pounds) which makes it perfect for partnering with paper or keeping those pesky doors open (or closed). It's in good condition for its age (1920s or 30s) with some small chips in the marble, the largest of which is located on the back under the Cockatoo's tail (see pic). Unmarked save for some numbers written in black and blue on the underside. Beauteous, bronze and Birdie, how can you go wrong?
