A fantastic bone china and bronze figurine from Royal Worcester of a keen eyed Peregrine Falcon perched among bronzed branches. The bird is hand painted in great detail with realistic colors, the only difference between this bird and its breathing cousins is its size. The Falcon is 8 inches in height to the topmost branch and is approx. 3.5 inches wide. You'll find it to be in excellent condition with nary a chip, crack or repair, and marked on the bottom with a medallion which identifies and dates it (see pic). The sculpture was made in a Limited Edition of 9,800 (worldwide) in 1985 and is part of Worcester's Great American Birds of Prey collection by David Friar. So if Raptors are among your favorites then this sculpture is sure to be a jewel in your collection. Prepare to be thrilled the moment it's unwrapped.
