One of the most gorgeous vintage china figurines of a Northern Oriole you'll ever see, made even more appealing by the addition of Magnolia blooms and buds. The Oriole is made of fine bisque porcelain and hand painted in exacting, realistic detail. It's also not a shy bird being just about life-sized, with an overall measurement of 7.75 inches in height, 8.25 inches in length and 6.5 inches in width. It was created as a Limited Edition in 1981 by Arthur Singer for the National Audubon Society and is so marked on the bottom. Aside from a touch-up on the side of the bird's beak (see pic, a sliver shape, just about unnoticeable) the Oriole is without further damage despite its delicacy. This one will TRULY take your breath away - better get that oxygen ready.
