In the old days, children had very different textbooks than they do today. Here is a pair of early school books from 1885, titled "Pathfinder #1 ~ Child's Health Primer". The books have 124 pages and some of them have wonderfully detailed graphics describing all sorts of things related to health. The books show quite a bit of wear, which is not surprising for children's books that are over 130 years old! Remarkably, the bindings are intact on both books. Inside one of the books is the inscription, "Annie Bonst". The covers are very detailed and intricate, perfect for display in a primitive country setting. These would look awesome in your country home, either on a table, a country cupboard or anywhere! These books show the history of education from long ago...two great pieces!
