Beautiful silver brooch with compartment in reverse for either a picture or a lock of hair. I have called it early 1900s but could be late Victorian when mourning pieces were very sought after. It measures 1 1/4 inch across with the longer sharp pin and "C" clasp from that period. The top has a very very slight indentation or may the way it was formed, and intricate scroll work. The glass on the reverse has no chips and can be "popped off" to allow a picture to be inserted. It is not marked silver but I guarantee it is; I have not cleaned it.
PLEASE NOTE: boxes, stands, and any additional props used for enhancing my listings, are NOT included. If any of these are included, it will be clearly marked. If you are in any doubt, please ask!
