This is a double Albert so it makes a great necklace without having to piece it. Each link is marked with the lion passant; the assay mark for English silver. The chain is pretty much the same width all the way through. I have added a slimmer chain on which I have added a bar and hallmarked silver medal which has a 9ct shield in the center with initials H H E on top of each other so can be interpreted any way! It also Queen Victoria's crown on the top. The back says NW EDUCATIONAL COMMITTEE'S ASSOC. COOPERATIVE EXAM 1905, presented to H.E. Ellis. The chain measures 16 inches, the extension with teh medal 3 1/2 inches long. Most of these sets I make are unisex.
