These would be for serving fish I believe, but could be used for other things; they are similar to cake serving pieces. I bought these in England quite a while ago and love the detail. These have survived well with only light scuffing on back of each piece. The handles will be bone - I grew up with cutlery with bone handles and was warned not to immerse in hot water as it turns them yellow and they crack. The knife is 12 inches long and the fork is 8 3/4 inches long. There are no marks to say the maker or where made. Most likely Sheffield
