REDUCED: How unfortunate - the stone in this Victorian Scottish brooch is chipped. I have priced accordingly until I can find a jeweler to replace the stone. It is a faceted Cairngorm as found in the mountain range by the same name in the north of Scotland. Otherwise the brooch is wonderful, apart from a little chip in one of the bloodstones. One prong needs tip replaced and it is silver, from around 1850 when Queen Victoria loved all things Scottish. The surrounding stones are Ruby, Garnet, Amethyst set in red jasper, Montrose gray agate and bloodstone. It's large, measuring 2 1/2 inches across. A really impressive piece of Scottish jewelry.
