REDUCED: This beautiful agate brooch/pendant is Victorian and quite large - two inches wide. The agates are set in silver mounts which are all present with a silver casing. There is one little piece of silver missing - see picture, and a scratch that travels from one stone to the other. Otherwise in nice condition for a brooch from the 1800s. I only slightly polished to highlight the silver (not marked as this was not mandatory at this time); I prefer to leave antique jewelry in the state I find it - with character! Wonderful colors would complement any outfit. The backs of these are usually slate but this appears to be agate also.
