This beautiful black banded agate bracelet is from the late 1800s, and traditionally Scottish. It is silver, note the large buckle, not marked as it is earlier and beautifully engraved. Queen Victoria loved all things Scottish and especially loved buckle jewelry. All the silver pieces are engraved. It is wide - each banded agate piece just over 1 inch by 3/4 inch. I do not polish these old pieces as I feel the patina shows the age and pattern better. It would fit around a six inch wrist but "o" rings can be added between the agates to increase the size. Victorian woman were quite small. I have collected Scottish Victorian jewelry for years; please see my other Victorian items listed. Please feel free to ask questions..I love to talk about these older pieces.
PLEASE NOTE: boxes, stands, and any additional props used for enhancing my listings, are NOT included. If any of these are included, it will be clearly marked. If you are in any doubt, please ask!
