REDUCED: This silver banded agate bracelet is from around 1870 I believe. Queen Victorian loved all things Scottish and especially loved buckle jewelry. The silver pieces are all engraved. It is not marked as this was not required at the time it was made. It is wide - each banded agate piece just over 1 inch by 3/4 inch. I do not polish these old pieces as I feel the patina shows the age and pattern better. It would fit around a six inch wrist but links can be added between the agates to increase the size. Victorian woman were quite small. I have collected Scottish Victorian jewelry for years; please see my other Victorian items listed.
