This breathtaking vintage pendant is made of chrysoprase (also sometimes called chrysophase) in a lacy white gold filigree setting. While it is unmarked, the gold tests as 10K. It is in the same style as the camphor glass and rock crystal pendants of the same era and like them there is a small diamond set in the center of the rectangular stone. Both of the stones have been tested with a gemstone tester. The detail in the setting is quite exceptional and the beautiful translucent stone really sets off the filigree. It is without question one of the loveliest pendants of this type that I have seen.
It measures about 1 1/4 inches by about 3/4 inch (not including the bale). It is in excellent condition.
