This is a particularly lovely Art Deco style necklace of graduated clear faceted glass beads. The beads are bicone shape and are separated with gold filled bead spacers with tiny bicone glass beads in between them. The necklace is strung on a chain that also appears to be gold filled. It fastens with a beautiful filigree catch which is marked gold filled. It dates to around the 1930s or 40s.
This necklace is 16 1/2 inches long and it is in very nice condition. It has some fleabites along the edges of some of the beads and there is a surface scratch on one of the larger beads. None of this is particularly evident when the necklace is worn.
