This is a beautiful antique Victorian rose bowl in cranberry pink mother of pearl glass in a herringbone pattern. This beautiful glass was created using an air trap technique to create the pattern and then given a satin finish with an acid bath. This type of glass was made by many Victorian glass makers and it dates to the late 1800s.
It is about 3 inches tall and about the same across. It has a rough pontil and one small bruise in the glass as shown. Otherwise it is in very good condition with no chips cracks or repairs.
