This lovely Art Nouveau hyacinth vase by Rindskopf is made of textured iridescent green glass. It is an impressive size, and the color is beautiful with darker shading near the bottom and a lighter green through most of the vase. The subtle color is hard to photograph, but the picture of the lower part of the vase shows it best. This form, with the bulbous top is typical of Rindskopf, a contemporary of Loetz and Kralik. It dates to around 1900.
The vase is an impressive 15 inches tall. It is about 5 inches across the base and the opening at the top is 2 1/2 inches. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one bubble near the surface which has not broken through, as shown in the pictures.
