This is a very unusual pair of cabinet sized antique Victorian mantle ewers. Mantle ewers were part of a garniture set, intended to be displayed on the mantle, usually on either side of a clock. Most of them are quite large. This pair is small and the body is majolica pottery rather than the usual opaque glass. Note that the metal mounts are not open and these were never designed to hold liquid. They are decorative only.
They measure 9 inches tall and about 4 inches across at the widest point. They are in very good condition with no cracks crazing or other damage to the pottery.
