Pair of St. Christopher Bronze Plaques.
This pair of cast plaques depicts a story in which Saint Christopher carried the Christ child across a river. They are a matched pair and have a beautiful Mid Century Modern or Modernist design.
They are unmarked and measure 2 ½" top to bottom and 2" across the bottom. Each has a dried glue coating the back from their original use – probably as pew decorations.
This is a unique set that could be mounted on wood and hung in a home near the door, as St. Christopher is best known as the Saint for travelers. Mounted on bookends, they would be a wonderful gift for a Confirmation celebrant or a priest.
