Roseville Imperial I Console Bowl.
This gorgeous bowl has an embossed woodsy design with a vine and leaves. The colors include several shades of green and soft browns. The textured design stands out and makes effective use of the shaded colors to emphasize it even more. It is a low, circular shape with a curled rim and two round handles extending up from the rim.
It is unmarked and was made by The Roseville Pottery Company, ca. 1921. It measures about 3" tall to the top of the handles and 8” across the foot.
Excellent Condition: no crazing, cracks or chips; it has a few manufacturing flaws in the glaze with a few raised dots and some roughness on the foot ring. The interior has some lime scale deposits.
What a beautiful piece! Early Roseville items are getting harder to find, and this pattern is no exception. Imagine setting a table with this bowl as a centerpiece! This is a perfect opportunity to add to your collection, so don't miss out!
