Antique RPPC WWI USS So. Dakota 1908 Ship Postcard.
This postcard depicts the first U.S.S. South Dakota, leaving San Diego California during its shakedown cruise in March of 1908. This ship was an integral part of the Pacific Fleet until the United States entered World War I, when it moved to the Atlantic and participated in the war effort.
Condition: only very minor edge and corner wear and scuffs; no creases; slightly curled; postally unused.
