Antique RPPC Manila Philippines 1904 Ships Postcard.
Although difficult to make out, this postcard depicts 2 ships in the distance. One appears to be a 3-mast sailing ship, while the other is a powered boat. The sky has wonderful cloud formations with a break in the center for sunlight.
The message reads “Manila; Hello nifty, sincerely,” and is signed with a name beginning with “R”. It was mailed to Massachusetts and took several months to arrive, showing postmarks in both 1904 and 1905.
Condition: minor edge and corner wear and scuffs; both bottom corners are creased; slightly curled; postally used.
What a fabulous find for a history buff, boating collector or postcard aficionado! Don’t miss this opportunity!
