Vintage Pair of Fenton Green Pastel Swirl Perfume Bottles, #7005.
These cologne or perfume bottles are a stunning, opaque pale jade green (we had difficulty photographing these – they are not blue or turquoise!). The body is a swirled melon shape with a narrow foot. The slender neck has a flared lip at the top with 6 `petals'. The stoppers have a swirled design with a pointed top. The inside of the neck and bottom of the stopper are ground to create a better seal. There is some soft color variation among the pieces, which is a common occurrence with this type of glass.
They are unmarked and were made by The Fenton Glass Company, ca. 1954-1955. They stand about 6 ½" tall to the top of the stopper.
Condition: no cracks, heavy scratches, nicks or chips. Any white spots in the pictures are from light reflection.
This is a striking set and it is very hard to find, so don't miss the opportunity to expand your collection or purchase a gift for a favorite collector!
