We are pleased to offer this Opalescent 7-piece Berry Set in Northwood Scroll with Acanthus.
This set has white opalescence at the rim and it consists of 1 master berry bowl and 6 individual berry bowls. The bowls are from 4-part moulds and the design features beaded scroll loops with stylized leaves at the bottom, plus leaves and beaded designs between each loop. The white rims have a scallop rim with tiny rounded beading at the top. The bowls are footed with an unadorned bottom.
This set is fabulous! We are pleased to also offer 4 additional individual berry bowls for the opportunity to create an extended set. This group makes a beautiful display and would surely be a prized addition to any collection.
They are unmarked, by Northwood, made in 1903. The master berry is about 4” tall and 9 ¼” across the top. The small bowls measure about 2 ¼” tall and 5 ¼" across the top.
Excellent Condition: no cracks, chips or heavy scratches. There is some variation in opalescence between the bowls, which is common. They have a few straw marks and mould imperfections.
This is a lovely set of opalescent glass and it would be a terrific addition to any glass collection! Terrific for use or display, any collector would be happy to add this to a set. We are offering several other pieces of antique glass as well as lots of other goodies, so please take a look at our other items. We would be pleased to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
