This is an attractive Libbey ABP Cut Glass Gem Spoon Tray.
It has a shallow oval shape with a scalloped, sawtooth rim. The cut geometric pattern features hobstars within hobstars, all inside of pyramids. It has a stunning starburst in the bottom and several small cross-hatch areas.
Marked in the center of the bowl "Libbey" in a circle (please see the pictures). The pattern name, Gem, was shown in the ACGA Libbey Catalog reprint, on page 187.
It stands 1 ½" tall and measures 8" by 5" across the top.
Very Good Condition: no cracks; 2 broken teeth and nicks on a few teeth; a few minor nicks in the edges of the cut pattern that don't detract but are mentioned for accuracy.
This is a lovely bowl that would be an ideal addition to any table. The minor flaws make this piece suitable for use, but it also displays beautifully. It has the famous Libbey quality and is sure to please any collector!
