Early Taxco Mexico Sterling Figural Flying Goose Pin.
This pin depicts a bird in flight, with its wings outstretched. It is circa 1930s, which is considered early Mexican silver, and it has a c-clasp on the back and an elongated pin stem.
It is from the same estate that yielded a set of 3 matching "flying geese" scatter pins (with the same mark), which is also listed in our shop.
Marked “Silver; Mexico”.
It measures about 2 3/8” across the wings.
Condition: nice patina that comes with time; no damage.
What a delightful pin or brooch! It would be a thoughtful gift for a bird lover, outdoorswoman, or nature lover. It is lightweight enough for blouses or summer weight clothing.
