Native American Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet.
This split side bracelet is set with a nice piece of turquoise with some copper coloring in the matrix. It is set in a dogtooth edge bezel setting with rope trim around the base. The cuff of the bracelet splits in two bands that straddle the top and bottom of the stone. Between the bands, a single rope ‘strand’ extends across the back of the stone. It is a “C” shape with some flexibility.
It is marked “Sterling”, and it measures about 2 1/2” inside diameter and the turquoise is about 7/8” by 5/8”.
Condition: the turquoise appears to be original and has no cracks or large chips but has some surface nicks and scratches consistent with age; the silver is not broken or missing any parts.
This lovely bracelet would be a terrific accessory with jeans or for a casual dress outfit. It would fit right in with any collection of Native American or Southwest jewelry. We acquired it from the living estate of a Nipmuc tribe member who took great pride in enjoying this bracelet. Don’t miss out on this one!
