Vintage Stuart Nye Sterling Silver Dogwood Blossom Flower Pin Brooch.
This is a lovely, delicately styled pin in the sought after Dogwood pattern. It has a horizontal “S” shaped curlicue upon which the detailed dogwood blossom is mounted.
Stuart Nye opened his shop in North Carolina in 1933 and all jewelry pieces are handcrafted. The dogwood is North Carolina’s state flower and it came to be an iconic staple among Nye’s designs. Please be sure to check our shop for more Stuart Nye jewelry.
The dogwood flower is about ¾” across and the length of the pin is about 1 ¾”. The flower is marked “Nye”. Although not marked as such, it tests as sterling.
Condition: no bends, cracks or damage; the pinback is well attached and works well although the hinge pin has been replaced.
This beautiful brooch has a flexible style sense, making it a good choice for any outfit.
