Vintage Stuart Nye Sterling Silver Dogwood Blossom Flower Pin Brooch.
This is an unusual Modernist style pin in the sought after Dogwood pattern. It has a straight ‘bar’ upon which the dogwood blossom is mounted.
Stuart Nye opened his shop in North Carolina in 1933 and all jewelry pieces are handmade. The dogwood is North Carolina’s state flower and it came to be an iconic staple among Nye’s designs. Please be sure to check our shop for more Stuart Nye jewelry.
The flower is about 7/8” across and the length of the pin is 3”. Both the flower and the bar are marked “Nye; Sterling”.
Excellent Condition: no bends, cracks or damage; the pinback is well attached and works well.
This beautiful brooch has a flexible style sense, making it a good choice for both dress up and dress down.
