Vintage Hogan Bolas Enameled Copper Screw Back Earrings.
These gorgeous earrings are truly MCM works of art. Each concave copper disk has a beautiful stylized flower. The iridescent enameling uses several shades of blue, including aquamarine, royal and cobalt. The flower has a silvery white backdrop.
They are marked "Hogan-Bolas", by Robert Hogan and Deborah Bolas, circa 1950. They measure about ¾" across.
Condition: minor wear and a few tiny edge chips; screw backs work well.
This is a lightweight pair of earrings with a streamlined look. They would be a great accessory for that little black dress, a work outfit or even jeans!
