Mexican Sterling Silver Panel Bracelet by CJB for Diaz Santoyo.
This bracelet has 4 curved rectangular links connected with hinges. Each has a different relief design featuring a man wearing a sombrero. A donkey, cactus, house, clay pot and the moon figure in to the designs. Each link has a framed edge and a curve, making the bracelet easy to wear. It has a hidden slide-in box clasp.
It is marked "CJB; Plata 925" and it measures about 7" long and each link is about 1 5/8" by 1 1/4". The silversmith is CJB, who worked in Diaz Santoyo's shop and our best guess would date this to the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Condition: no broken links but one has a slight bend down the center; clasp works well; beautiful patina.
This is a gorgeous bracelet that would look great with a casual outfit, evening wear or a business wardrobe. Don't miss this one!
