This is an absolutely gorgeous Art Nouveau pin dating back to 1890 and designed by William B Kerr featuring a stunning combination of sterling silver and rich garnet! The pin features the classic Art Nouveau whiplash curve in a truly lovely swooping design reminiscent of an angel's wings! At the center of the 'wings' is an elegantly hidden fleur de lis. Dangling from the three tips of the curves is a delicate bow motif boasting a round garnet with a jaw-droppingly rich color. This pin puts on display the best of the Art Nouveau movement and pairs excellent craftsmanship with the natural beauty of killer precious stones. The back of the pin bears the signature of William B Kerr!
This pin is the perfect lapel pin. The length would fit flawlessly on a blazer and the articulated bow dangles would fall over the pocket to create the perfect look!
The pin is about 1 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" long and the longest point.
