This charming Victorian brooch features a silver over 14 carat yellow gold frame with a hand painted portrait of a beautiful woman. One can not help but to wonder what she is thinking. It was made in the 1850's and the condition of this piece is amazing, there is a beautiful patina that only time can give you. The 20 Rose Cut diamonds are lively and bright and the two natural pearls are stunning. There are three initials on the back reading- J.C.S.
