This is one interesting old tall clock dial. This is a beautifully painted dial, with a farm scene and flowers. Some flaking as seen, but not terrible, and the paint that is there is intact. The really interesting thing is the back of the dial is papered with a Easton Pa. newspaper from January 1832! You can read articles about a lovely house and farm for sale in Prallsville, N.J. or the 1832 Union Canal lottery of Pennsylvania. This dial was from an old tall clock and was weight driven. There are two winding arbors present on the dial. Measures 19" H and 13" W. Buyer will be pleased. An early piece of Americana.
