For your consideration a stunning example of early vintage Czech glass jewelry. This necklace is one of the most beautiful I have had in quite some time. The necklace length is 17 1/2 in end to end with an additional 2 1/8 in drop on the pendant. The pendant is made up of a floral molded pressed glass in cobalt blue. The setting is a silver wash over brass with a design of flowers and scroll work. Up the chain are 5- 1/4 in round glass disks that are the same cobalt blue color. The closure is a safety clasp. The piece is marked Czechoslovakia on the ring of the clasp. This is an exceptional piece of vintage Czech jewelry and would make a great addition to any collection. Pieces of this type of jewelry and the press molding can be seen in the book Baubles, Buttons and Beads-The Heritage of Bohemia by S Jargstorf on page 160
