For your consideration a really nice example of 1930-40's bass and glass necklace. This set is so pretty in person and I promise you will wear it often. The necklace measures 15 1/2 in end to end and the matching earrings 1 7/8 in top to bottom. The necklace is a modified bib with a drop of 1 3/4 in across the necklace. The round Peking glass balls graduate from a larger piece in the center to smaller at the side of the necklace. There are small stamped leaves that dangle from the glass balls that give the piece really nice movement. The earrings are an exact match and have a screw back. These could be converted to pierced by taking the top portion off and adding a pierced earring wire. The closure on the necklace is a spring ring clasp. Don't miss adding this beauty to your jewelry box, it is a great statement piece.
Circa -1930-40 Condition-Previously worn-Minor darkening to the brass (patina) this piece has been lightly cleaned and the new owner might want to polish the brass. Note that the links near the clasp look to have small wire on them. The rings are connected but the previous owner just added this to make this area more secure. I will be checking and replacing the rings if need. Signed-NO
