For your consideration a stunning very early Art Deco Green Carved Glass Necklace. In all my years of selling jewels I have never had a piece of Art Deco jewerly this awesome before. This necklace is a true survivor of time. The piece is made up of 9 green glass panels. Each panel is 1 in square. This glass panels are highly carved with a geometric design that is so telling of the Art Deco period. The panels are set in brass frames and the necklace is linked with three brass rings between each piece. I have added a photo with the necklace held to the light and it shows an "apple green" when on the neckline it wears a slightly darker green, but it still has a transparent glow. The closure is a spring ring clasp. Please note that there is one very small chip on a corner of one of the panels, you really have to get right up the piece to see it and I did add a photo. There is also an option to make this piece a bit longer as there seem to be a few extra round links near the closure should you want to add about an inch to the necklace. This is a rare and beautiful piece one that would be a great addition to any Art Deco jewelry collection.
Circa-1910-1930 Condition-Previously worn-very minor chip on one glass panel (see photo) and some light hazing to the glass (due to age) also see photos. Please zoom in for a closer look Signed-NO
